Directions
  • Prepare the Bread:

    Cut the bread slices into 3–4 thick sticks each to create French toast sticks.

  • Make the Egg Mixture:

    In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sugar until well combined.

  • Dip the Bread:

    Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, coating all sides evenly but quickly so the bread does not become too soggy.

  • Preheat the Air Fryer:

    Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–5 minutes.

  • Cook the French Toast Sticks:

    Lightly grease the air fryer basket with melted butter or cooking spray. Place the bread sticks in a single layer and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and crispy.

  • Serve:

    Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm with maple syrup or fresh fruit.
