Skillet Macaroni and Beef

- 1/3 cup Cooking Oil - 80 ml
- 1 lb Ground Beef - 450 g
- 1/2 cup Chopped Onion - 125 ml
- 1 clove Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- 2 cups Uncooked Elbow Macaroni - 500 ml
- 1 cup Slivered Green pepper - 250 ml
- 1/2 cup Slice Celery - 125 ml
- 1 cup Frozen Green Beans, Thawed Enough to Measure - 250 ml
- 28 -oz can Tomatoes - 796-ml can
- 2 tsp Salt - 10 ml
- 1/4 tsp Pepper - 1 ml
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce - 30 ml
- 1/2 cup Slivered Rip Olives - 125 ml
Notes
In a large heavy skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Add onion, garlic, and macaroni and continue cooking until the macaroni is lightly browned. Stir in green pepper, celery, beans, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until the macaroni is tender. Stir the mixture occasionally during cooking and add a little water if needed to prevent sticking. Finally, stir in the olives and serve.
